Account Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Routinely follows up to existing accounts to build relationships, gain customer feedback on services, and identify new opportunities.
  • Place outbound calls for an average of 4 hours each day including prospects and current customers.
  • Determine client needs and present service offerings that will provide benefit.
  • Take inbound (warm leads) from scheduled media promotions.
  • Influence customers to buy product by following a prepared sales script that offers product information and price.
  • Promote product by suggesting related products; offering quantity discounts or special promotions.
  • Confirm customer information by restating and clarifying customer and product order information.
  • Maintain and organize documentation of all client correspondence in the sales software provided.
  • Offer upgrades and down-sell each customer.
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of other departments at Quincy Bioscience and interact with them as needed.
  • Consistently meet sales and performance goals on a monthly basis.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other business related field or equivalent relevant work experience is desired.
  • A minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a tele-marketing environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • High energy level and a positive attitude are important.
  • Sets examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.
  • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Warehouse Associate
Two full time openings to work in our professional distribution center.
The hours will be Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.
Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred.

Job Duties:
  • Maintenance of warehouse inventory
  • Facilitate warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Data and Order Entry
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis

Controller

General Purpose

Reporting to the chief financial officer (CFO), the Controller is responsible for oversight of all financial accounting and reporting activities. The Controller leads all day-to-day finance operations and supervises the accounting team in the areas of the financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll administration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages all accounting operations, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and legal requirements.
  • Oversees the activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
  • Oversee and assure compliance with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Establish, monitor and enforce accounting policies, procedures, internal controls and safeguards.
  • Prepares accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and analyses.
  • Coordinates the annual budget and rolling forecast processes.
  • Coordinates all audit and tax return activities with external auditors and tax accountants.
  • Monitors compliance with debt covenants.
  • Assist in business risk management analyses and strategies.
  • Assist in banking relationship management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.  Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree, Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Must be a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial sloppiness.
  • Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data/information.
  • Exhibit good time management, ability to meet deadlines and to work well under pressure high business ethics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
