Account Manager

Quincy Bioscience (QB), a biotechnology company located in Madison, WI is searching for new team members. We currently have an opening for an Account Manager. This role is responsible for selling products manufactured by QB, primarily via telephone. The ideal candidate for this role is reliable, hardworking, high energy, and committed to perform the following tasks:

  • Generate and grow new business by successfully executing the Quincy Sales Process
  • Responsible for the performance and development of Independent Pharmacies and Health Food Stores acquired by Account Manager
  • Build strong customer relationships and close sales
  • Take inbound commissionable reorders from existing base of customers
  • Determine client needs and present service offerings that benefit the customer
  • Promote product by suggesting related products and offering quantity discounts or special promotions
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and performance goals
  • Maintain and organize documentation of all client correspondence within our CRM software
  • Take inbound sales lead calls and refill orders

A Bachelor’s degree in preferred but not necessary. Prior inside B2B sales experience is strongly desired accompanied by Customer Service experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Warehouse Associate
Two full time openings to work in our professional distribution center.
The hours will be Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.
Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred.

Job Duties:
  • Maintenance of warehouse inventory
  • Facilitate warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Data and Order Entry
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis
  • Basic computer skills
  • Detail oriented
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
  • Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred

Controller

General Purpose

Reporting to the chief financial officer (CFO), the Controller is responsible for oversight of all financial accounting and reporting activities. The Controller leads all day-to-day finance operations and supervises the accounting team in the areas of the financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll administration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manages all accounting operations, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and legal requirements.
  • Oversees the activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
  • Oversee and assure compliance with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Establish, monitor and enforce accounting policies, procedures, internal controls and safeguards.
  • Prepares accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and analyses.
  • Coordinates the annual budget and rolling forecast processes.
  • Coordinates all audit and tax return activities with external auditors and tax accountants.
  • Monitors compliance with debt covenants.
  • Assist in business risk management analyses and strategies.
  • Assist in banking relationship management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.  Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree, Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Must be a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial sloppiness.
  • Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data/information.
  • Exhibit good time management, ability to meet deadlines and to work well under pressure high business ethics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
