The management team at Quincy Bioscience consists of the following individuals:

• Mike Beaman, CEO (co-founder)

Mr. Beaman, an executive and entrepreneur, is also the CEO and owner of Quincy Resource Group, Inc., a Wisconsin-based manufacturer that has averaged over 30% annual growth since Mr. Beaman acquired the company in 1994. Mr. Beaman has a BS in Industrial Management and Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. 

• Mark Underwood, President (co-founder)

Mark Underwood, the President, has a BA in Psychology (neurochemistry) from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. His experience includes laboratory product development, product launches and business team development. Mark Underwood has led and managed professional teams throughout his career and is also the inventor of the apoaequorin-based technologies within Quincy Bioscience.

• James Moyer, Ph.D., Scientific Advisor

Dr. James Moyer Jr. is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Dr. Moyer specializes in calcium physiology and is interested in the development and evaluation of novel neurotherapeutics for the treatment of aging-related cognitive decline. Dr. Moyer earned his Ph.D from Northwestern University in 1992. Dr. Moyer has published multiple articles on neurophysiology and the effects of calcium. • Dan Moran, Ph.D., Director of Manufacturing Sciences

Dr. Moran is the Manufacturing Scientist with over 20 years of practical recombinant fermentation experience. His work is focused on the development of practical efficient manufacturing techniques for the protein apoaequorin and also for accomplishing scale-up capabilities to include continuous batch manufacturing. Dr. Moran is also involved in the leadership and scientific direction of the company.
