Customer Service Specialist

Quincy Bioscience, the makers of Prevagen, are looking for a Customer Service Specialist. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong customer service skills and active listening skills. Prior customer service experience is preferred. Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • Project management
  • Data analytics
  • Order entry
  • Package tracking
  • Problem solving

This is a fulltime position and is required to be in our offices due to the sensitivity of customer data that is handled. The individual will spend approximately 80% of their time handling incoming customer contact, which may be via inbound email, postal mail or phone.

Inventory Manager

Quincy Bioscience, the makers of Prevagen, is looking for an Inventory Manager. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of inventory management or demand planning experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluating future demand forecasts and scheduling raw material purchases to avoid customer shipment disruptions
  • Identifying capacity constraints
  • Analyzing and building inventory models
  • Helping establish EOQ levels by item
  • Working to ensure recommended purchase patterns take advantage of inventory levels, carrying costs and purchase discounts
  • Participating in and leading monthly inventory meetings outlining actions that need to be taken
  • Working in conjunction with logistics personnel to understand lead times necessary to meet shipment deadlines

Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or similar field, with CPIM or CSCP certification a plus. Account Manager

We currently have an opening for an Account Manager. This role is responsible for selling products manufactured and distributed by Quincy, primarily via telephone. The ideal candidate for this role is reliable, hardworking, high energy, and committed to perform the following tasks:

  • Generate and grow new business by successfully executing on the Quincy Sale Process.
  • Build strong customer relationships and close sales.
  • Determine client needs and present service offerings that benefit the customer.
  • Promote product by suggesting related products and offering quantity discounts or special promotions.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and performance goals.
  • Maintain and organize documentation of all client correspondence within our CRM software.
  • Take inbound sales lead calls and refill orders.

Accounting Fulfillment Specialist

Quincy Bioscience, makers of Prevagen, is expanding its sales channels and is adding to their accounting team. The company is seeking an Accounting Fulfillment Specialist to perform the following:

  • Review daily fulfillment transactions and address discrepancies
  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports to monitor fulfillment inventory and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in ERP system
  • Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end closing
  • Reconcile sales, cost and inventory
  • Monitor sales and use tax on fulfillment transactions, generate monthly sales tax report, and reconcile sales tax liability

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration and 3 years of relevant work experience. He/she will also be proficient in Excel and have demonstrated process improvement skills.

Quality Control Analyst

Quincy Bioscience is seeking a Quality Control Analyst. The right candidate will have experience in analytical technologies such as HPLC (primary), SDS PAGE, and other protein chemistry methods.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process production testing and end-point release testing.
  • Compile and report data for documentation of test procedures and report abnormalities.
  • Revise and update standard operating procedures.
  • Perform special projects on analytical and instrument problem solving.
  • Responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
  • Develop, validate, and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and prepares documentation for testing procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring conformance to in-house specifications and good manufacturing practices.
  • Responsible for calibration and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems and for assisting in the selection and specification of equipment.
  • Maintain all documentation pertaining to qualification and verification and serves as an information resource.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical sciences or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality control/quality assurance systems working in a GMP analytical laboratory.
  • Analytical competency in RP HPLC, spectrophotometer, SDS PAGE (preferred), and wet chemistry techniques.
    Experience in protein purification techniques a plus.
  • Experience with IEX, SEC, HIC a plus.
  • Experience with microbial assays a plus.
  • Solid Math and Analytical Skills.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft software.

Quality Control/Quality Assurance Specialist

Quincy Bioscience is looking for a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Specialist. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices in all work performed. The ideal candidate for this role is reliable, hardworking, high energy, and committed to perform the following tasks:

  • Performs review of manufacturing and analytical documentation for accuracy and compliance with GMP
  • Monitor and audit contract manufacturers and laboratories and perform reviews of batch records
  • Conduct audits of internal processes and procedures.
  • Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials (primarily by HPLC) and finished product and prepare reports summarizing data
  • Perform and schedule maintenance of equipment
  • Manage the company’s document controls systems
  • Create and maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems
  • Assist with management of product complaint system
  • Support product development activities

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years in a regulated food, dietary supplement or pharmaceutical setting preferred, as is ASQ certification. HPLC experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Senior Accountant

Quincy Bioscience, makers of Prevagen, has an opportunity on their Accounting team for a Senior Accountant. This position is open as a result of a retirement.

We are looking for the Senior Accountant to take on the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly and year end close and financial reporting
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Analyze accounts as necessary
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and prepare corresponding reports and journal entries
  • Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Prepare annual property tax filings
  • Maintain customer tax exemption records and update as needed
  • Monitor state sales tax nexus requirements and register in new states as required
  • Monitor and report sales and use tax
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent with 4 or more years of relevant work experience. He/she will also have strong EXCEL skills and working knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems.

  • Maintaining files on customer rebate/coupon redemption
  • Monitoring receivables to ensure payments are up to date
  • Researching and resolving customer deductions
